Bible Fellowship Teacher

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15

To make disciples of Christ! The Bible commands us to teach everyone how to live by the Word of God. Our purpose is to help others become better disciples of Christ so that they can go and make more disciples for Him. Our classes are more intimate and open to questions about Scripture and breaking down those Scriptures for a better, more thorough understanding.

REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To lead or facilitate the class during the Bible Fellowship meetings as the leader or an assistant.
  • Be prepared for questions about the specific Scripture of the week (context of the scripture, history, important details surrounding the meaning of the scripture.)
  • Stress the importance of class participation by letting the class do most of the talking.  They can’t learn to dig into God’s Word if someone is doing it all for them.
  • Encourage your class members to be obedient to God’s Word during the week.
  • Attend all Bible Fellowship Team Meetings.
  • Maintain a personal quiet time with the Lord.
  • Support services/activities of North Highland to set an example to others watching or following in your footsteps.
