GREETER/HOSPITALITY
“Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews 13:1-2
The purpose of the Greeter/Hospitality Team is to show the welcoming love of God as we greet each person that enters any door of our church on Sundays and on Wednesdays, and to be a helpful guide to all visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose of the Greeter/Hospitality Team is to show the welcoming love of God as we greet each person that enters any door of our church on Sundays and on Wednesdays, and to be a helpful guide to all visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strive to maintain a consistent personal quiet time with the Lord.
- Love people!
- Greet everyone with a smile and show them God’s love.
- Try to gather any visitors’ names and information. If you’re able to get their info, pass that on to the Bible Fellowship Leader or church secretary.
- Be familiar with all the classes and their locations so you can know where each guest needs to go. Introduce them to the class or to someone else in the room that you take them to before leaving them.
- If a guest comes alone, offer to let them sit with your family during the service to help them not feel alone.
- Attend all training for the Welcome/Greeter Team.
