Sunday Mornings
“Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom
of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Luke 18:17
Our mission for the Children’s Ministry is to study God’s word and lead the children from age 3 to 5th grade to Christ by modeling obedience to God. One of the greatest purposes of our ministry is to be an example of Christ to the children. When they see our commitment to Christ and them in ministry, we hope they will see the love of Jesus through us. The material we are using is new, exciting, and Biblically accurate. We memorize Bible verses and songs, learn how to use the Bible, and play games that align with the lessons. Each Sunday morning, the kids will check in at the kiosks, participate in worship through song in the sanctuary, and head upstairs for class. Rather than a weekly rotation, the kids are placed with the same teacher for three months to help retain and build on the lessons learned each week. Our main desire is to keep the truths of God’s Word real while having fun.

Wednesdays
Children are blessings! We have a responsibility to these children. We are to help them grow mentally, physically, and spiritually. We are to teach them about Jesus and introduce them to Jesus (for the children who are not taken to church often). We are to prepare them to accept Jesus! We are to lead them to Jesus! For the children who know Jesus as their personal savior, we are to help them grow as young Christians on their level. Jesus commissioned us to teach the Gospel. We must start on a young level to prepare children to accept Christ and for the future of the church, not just our church, but Christ's church!
MINISTRY GOALS:
• To instill the Gospel into the lives of the children in hopes that
those seeds will take root early in life, leading to a steady walk
with Christ rather than a life of sin.
• To protect and care for the children in an intentional, planned
way through check-in stations and health and safety protocols.
• To have leaders who value the importance of their godly
example for the children in and out of the church building.
• To remain in prayer for the children and their families.
