The Purpose of Our Existence
Romans 11:36
36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
Revelation 4:11
11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”
Today, let’s think about the big picture - our purpose in life is to honor God. Paul says that everything is for Him, so our lives should always point back to Him. How often do we forget this purpose and get caught up in our own stuff? Take a moment to think about what you’re really working on. Are you doing it to honor God?
Prayer and Action:
If not, pick one area of your life today and make a conscious effort to focus on honoring Him. This could be at work, with your friends, or even in your free time. Let every little thing you do be a way of saying, ‘I love you, God.’
