Redeemed by His Blood

Ephesians 1:3-7
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

1 Peter 1:18-19
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Thoughts:
Today, we focus on the profound truth of redemption through Christ's blood. As we read in Ephesians, we are blessed "in Christ" with every spiritual blessing, including redemption through His blood. This redemption is not a mere transaction, but a complete liberation from the power and penalty of sin.

Reflect on the price paid for your freedom. Not with silver or gold, but the precious blood of Christ. How does this change your perspective on your worth and identity? Consider the areas in your life where you still feel bound by sin or shame. Remember that in Christ, you have been fully redeemed.

Prayer:
Ask God to help you with gratitude for your redemption. Each time you face a temptation or feel weighed down by past sin, say it out loud: "I am redeemed by the blood of Christ." Let this truth sink into your heart and transform your life and actions.
