The Glory of God's Grace

Ephesians 1:3-6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Thoughts:
In the Book of Ephesians, we're immediately confronted with the overwhelming glory of God's grace. Paul's words flow like a waterfall of praise, unable to contain the wonder of what God has done for us in Christ. Today, reflect on what it means to be "blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ" (v.3). How does knowing you were chosen before the foundation of the world impact your sense of worth and purpose?

Prayer:
Consider how you might live today "to the praise of his glorious grace" (v.6). Let your heart overflow with gratitude, and look for ways to extend that grace to others.
