Filled with God's Fullness
Ephesians 3:19
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Colossians 2:9-10
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Thoughts:
Paul's ultimate prayer is that believers would be filled with all the fullness of God. This is not about accumulating more biblical knowledge or religious activities, but about lacking nothing because God Himself fills every void. Too often, we are full of things that bring temporary satisfaction while remaining spiritually empty. God desires to fill you completely, not with possessions or accomplishments, but with Himself. When you are rooted deeply in His love rather than spreading yourself thin, you find the strength and satisfaction your soul craves. Praying for others should flow from this fullness, not from obligation but from the pleasure of participating in God's work in their lives.
Prayer:
Examine what currently fills your life. Ask God to replace anything that competes with His fullness, and commit to praying for someone today with genuine pleasure, saying "It is my pleasure" when they thank you.
