Christ Dwelling Within

Ephesians 3:17-18
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Colossians 1:27
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Thoughts:
There is a difference between Christ moving into your heart at salvation and Christ truly dwelling there. The word "dwell" means to settle down, unpack, and occupy every room. Is Christ merely a guest in your life, or has He taken full residence? When Christ dwells in your heart by faith, every thought, decision, and action is shaped by His presence. Paul prays that believers would comprehend the four-dimensional love of God: its breadth reaching everywhere, its length enduring forever, its height stretching to the heavens, and its depth descending to wherever you are. No matter how far you have wandered, God's love is already there, waiting to restore you.

Prayer:
Invite Christ to "unpack" in one or more areas of your life where you have kept Him at a distance.
