Access to the Father

Ephesians 3:14-15
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Psalms 95:1-7
1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD:
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving,
and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the LORD is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth:
the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it:
and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
7 For he is our God;
and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
To day if ye will hear his voice,

Thoughts:
Paul begins his prayer by acknowledging a profound truth: through Christ, we now have direct access to the Father. Once strangers to God's covenant, we have been adopted into His family. This is not merely theological knowledge but a life-altering reality. When you pray today, pause to consider that you are approaching the Father who owns everything, who extends endless grace and mercy. You are not an outsider begging for attention but a beloved child welcomed home. This access should bring you to your knees in reverent worship, not out of fear but out of overwhelming gratitude. How does knowing God as Father change your approach to prayer today?

Prayer:
Spend time today addressing God as "Father" in your prayers, thanking Him specifically for adopting you into His family.
