Bearing Lasting Fruit

John 15:16-17
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Jesus chose us and appointed us to bear fruit – fruit that will last. This fruit isn’t just for us, it’s for the good of others and the glory of God. How is your life affecting those around you? Are you bearing fruit that draws others to Christ? Think about the ways God has used you to bless others. Ask Him to show you new opportunities to bear lasting fruit.

Prayer and Action:
Remember, our ultimate purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. As you abide in Christ, trust that He will produce fruit through you that will have eternal significance. Pray that the Lord will use you today to be an example of His Gospel to others.
