Jesus, Our Great High Priest

Hebrews 4:14-16
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

John 1:14-18
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Jesus, fully God and fully man, understands our weaknesses and temptations. He invites us to approach God's throne of grace with confidence. Reflect on what it means to have Jesus as your advocate before the Father. How does this change your approach to prayer and your relationship with God?

Prayer:
Take some time today to share your struggles, fears, and needs with God. Remember, Jesus understands your weaknesses and fights for you. Let this truth give you the courage to ask God for help when you need it.
