The Power of Faith
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Thought:
Faith isn't a mere presumption but confident assurance in God's promises. It allows us to stand firm in our trials, by viewing God’s promises as reality rather than relying on visible confirmations. Faith serves as protection, guarding us against the enemy's fiery darts and helping us to live as though God’s unseen promises are already fulfilled.
Prayer:
Strengthen my faith, O God, and help me to trust wholly in Your promises. Let my faith be like a shield, protecting me from doubt and fear, and empowering me to stand firm in Your truth. Amen.
