Identifying with Christ through Baptism
Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."
Thought:
Baptism is a deeply meaningful and important act that goes beyond just a routine. It’s a strong symbol of how much we’re connected and part of Jesus Christ. In this symbolic ceremony, we openly show our loyalty and belonging to Him and His church, which is a community of believers who share the same faith and goals. When we get baptized, we’re making a serious promise to follow Christ’s example, living our lives according to His teachings and values. This act also shows our respect for His death and resurrection, recognizing the amazing power of His sacrifice and the hope of eternal salvation He gives to everyone who believes. It’s a time for spiritual renewal and a step forward in our faith journey, encouraging us to live a life of devotion and service to God and others.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of baptism, which aligns us with Jesus and the church. May our lives continually reflect our baptismal identity as we grow closer to You each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
