Genesis 18:1-3
1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

Thought:
Abraham and Sara's story is one of long periods of waiting and testing their faith concerning God's promise. Despite their initial doubt, God’s visit reaffirms His assurances. This story reminds us that even when things seem tough or promises aren’t coming through right away, God is still working out His plans. By keeping our eyes open and looking for the good things that might come our way, we build hope and trust that God will keep His promises in His own good time and way. Our unwavering faith encourages us to stay open and hopeful for God’s help.

Prayer:
Lord, in times of doubt and waiting, help me to see Your presence and trust in Your perfect timing. May I always remain open to Your promises and trust that You are working for my good. Amen.
