Who Is Your Teacher?

Ephesians 4:20-24
20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Thoughts:
Paul asks a straightforward question: Have you truly learned Christ? Our lives should reflect the One who taught us. Just as a child mimics their parent's words and actions, we bear witness to whose instruction we follow. When we claim Christ as our teacher, our lifestyle should not mirror the world's emptiness but display His righteousness. Today, examine your daily habits, conversations, and choices. Do they point others to Jesus? The transformation begins when we intentionally "put off" the old self corrupted by deceit and "put on" the new self created in God's likeness. Discovering Christ isn’t just about understanding it intellectually; it’s about transforming how we live, speak, and love.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to be a diligent student of Your ways. May my life be a reflection of Your truth and grace. Teach me to walk in Your steps and to learn from You daily. Amen.
