Breaking Down Barriers

Luke 14:21
21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

Thoughts:
Jesus invites us to go beyond what society says we can do and to share His love with everyone, no matter what they’ve done. This is a big idea about how God’s kingdom is for everyone, no matter who they are or what they’ve done. When we believe, we’re encouraged to see past the things that keep us apart and to welcome everyone to the endless love and kindness that Christ offers. This is a sign of how powerful God’s love is, wanting to bring us all together and make us whole.

Prayer:
Oh, dear God, please open my eyes to the needs of those around me and give me the strength to tear down the walls that keep others from feeling Your love. May I be a bridge of Your grace, inviting everyone to Your table. Amen.
